Summer festival season is great, but the great outdoors can be rough. Do you hate mosquito bites? According to BBC News, music created by Dubstep artist, Skrillex, can ward off those pesky parasites. Well, if you’re one of those bodies the bugs just love to bite, you’re in luck, because Electric Zoo just announced its massive 2019 lineup and you’ll never guess who’s at the top of the bill.
Electric Zoo: Evolved will return to Randalls Island for the 11th consecutive time over Labor Day Weekend, August 30 – September 1. Among the 100+ acts performing this year are breakbeat superduo, Dog Blood (Boys Noize & Skrillex), Aussie trap star Alison Wonderland and EDM frontrunner, Kaskade. ‘A State of Trance’ radio host, Armin Van Buuren, is in tow following his groundbreaking performance with iconic Van Halen singer, David Lee Roth, at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. House heads will be thrilled to see the likes of Joris Voorn, Yotto, Camelphat and Solardo, while techno fans will get their fix from Green Velvet, Cristoph and a slew of others. And you’re certain to be far from mosquitos when bass artists like Excision, Flux Pavilion, Borgore and Diesel (aka your homeboy from 3rd grade, Shaquille O’Neil) send their high energy beats soaring clear across Randalls Island.
Electric Zoo: Evolved promises a bigger and better experience for attendees thanks to this expanded lineup, new stage designs and a series of never before seen B2B performances. Are you ready to evolve? Buy your tickets HERE, and leave your bug spray at home. Check out the entire lineup below!
