That spot on Bedford that tried (unsuccessfully) to be Maison Premiere closed late last year. In its place, Kill Devil: House of Dark Spirits is slotted to open in March. The bar will focus on rum and whiskey cocktails:

World-class cocktails. The city’s most accomplished bartenders. 14 rotating taps of the best American ales out there. Over 100 bottles of delicious sipping rum and a whiskey selection based on taste rather than name recognition.
