Madame Morbid’s Trolley tours launches a new stop in Williamsburg

Looking for something unusual to do this weekend? Madame Morbid’s Trolley Tours have moved to Williamsburg, with a pickup stop at North 9th Street & Driggs Ave (B62 Bus Stop).

Your tour guide is Allison Huntington Chase who guides passengers through “tales of alien abductions on the Brooklyn Bridge, the secret location used by Murder Inc. to dump bodies, the street where a plane fell from the sky in 1960, the site where the first battle of the Revolutionary War took place, [and] accounts of animal sacrifices in Prospect Park.” Reveling in the macabre, the trolley is designed to look like a Victorian funeral parlor:

Madame Morbid will also be launching a series of new events, including a monthly Full Moon tour that kicks off on January 31. Guests will learn about werewolves and be given the chance to howl at the moon while wearing plastic fangs. On February 14, we will be hosting a special ‘Til Death Do Us Part tour with black roses and tarot card readings by Amie Scrupski.

Madame Morbid LLC was founded by Allison Huntington Chase, who grew up in Hartford, CT and has a degree in Screenplay Writing from the School of Visual Arts. She has travelled around the world researching ghost tours to create the highest quality trolley company in New York. On January 29, she will be participating in New York City’s Secrets & Lies, a story-telling event at Caveat with speakers from Untapped Cities and Atlas Obscura.

Tour Hours:
Fri-Sun: 4pm, 7pm, 9pm
Wed, Thurs: 7pm, 9pm

The tours are $49 and are just under two hours in length. To celebrate the new stop in Williamsburg, they’ve teamed up with Two Boots (which is right by the pick up location) who will be selling “The Madame Morbid slice” which will have “tomatoes, spinach, parmigiana, roasted garlic (to keep vampires away) and a pesto pentagram.”
